Good evening followers! I hope you’re all doing well and keeping your pens and fingers busy. Mine has been busy a lot as of late which is why I’m typing this post. As of tonight, I’m taking a short hiatus from this blog. What this will mean is it will still be active but I won’t. My life has been a small roller coaster as of late. School is kicking my rear. I recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, rehabilitating a small family house. I had a great time and will be doing it again possibly next week (if transportation funds are well with me in the coming week, the perks of living in New York). I’m looking for part-time work.
I will post regularly on April 3rd to the 11th since I have Spring Break and back to hiatus mode. Now I said that this blog will be active. How if I’m not posting? I will be queuing posts from various blog sites, either from WordPress, Blogger or Tumblr. Although most of these posts won’t be original content I still want to provide helpful tips and prompts for you all to keep writing. I’ve been sapped out of creativity for writing prompts as of late, but luckily enough I’ve been doing independent writing for myself. There will be a new prompt tonight before I close the curtain when school’s over for me.
As a developing community, I want us to grow as writers. I believe that all of you including myself, whether we’re rookie or veteran writers can improve further. Remember there’s always room for improvement. The new prompt will be up in a moment. I just wanted to let you all know what’s going on. if you have comments, questions and suggestions on what I should do spark some creativity, I would greatly appreciate it. I hope you all keep on writing and have a safe weekend.
Later fellow writers. 🙂
Hello followers! I apologize for my week-long absence. School has increased my busy meter by tenfold. I’m off from school until this upcoming Tuesday because of Lincoln’s Birthday, President’s and Washington’s Birthday, so I’m back to my regularly scheduled program. Keep in mind that there will be times of inactivity even though I mentioned I will maintain this blog no matter what. I decided to change that. I will post prompts via a queue, so that you won’t miss out on writing. I have a new prompt for you all this evening and I will post it as soon as I can.
Recently I’m becoming more inspired to write. I can’t say for certain that I’m starting to get more ideas as the days go by. I’m currently drafting ideas for an anthology that I want to write and publish. So I’m asking you, my followers (this is also another prompt, by the way) do ideas for your writing come naturally or do you have techniques to develop ideas? Let me know in the comments of this post. Also, have you ever published anything recently or do you have something you want to publish?
Enjoy the rest of your evening and more content to come!
Good morning, afternoon and evening everyone! So for those of us living the Northeast of the United States (myself) included, I’m wishing you all a safe trip to and from work later on today and tomorrow. Although I do most of my work at home it doesn’t stop me from going out to run errands. I will reblog news about the snowstorm after this post.
There will be two new prompts today, a text and photographic prompt today. I want to update on the “Trends” article that I discussed a few days ago. The article that I written for “Literature Trends” was scrapped. As I was writing the article I hit a wall in what to write and research for that I stopped writing it. However I started a new article for Science Fiction that I will continue writing throughout the day. I feel it’s necessary to just keep trying until no matter what doesn’t work out.
My Spring Semester starts this week. That means that I will be posting less. The good news is I have no classes Wednesdays and Fridays for the next 4 months. I want to keep this blog running. I do plan on making freelancing as a way to supplement an income until the next big thing comes along. I thought about asking my sister to be co-admin for this blog this time around, but I can manage my school work and my “job” this time around.
I’m taking two English classes this time around for my “final” semester. Whatever I learn from this two classes I may incorporate it into prompts on my days off. There will be times on weekends where I will be inactive due to volunteer projects as well. I have big plans this year and within the next few months. If you do manage to answer my prompts it will take me a while to respond to them, so please don’t think I have abandoned you all or this blog. I believe that’s enough rambling for one morning, transitioning into noon. Anyway, I hope you all have a pleasant day. Stay warm and safe my fellow Northeasterners and keep on writing.
