Response to Adult Visions prompt from The Daily Post

I always imagined being an adult would be difficult when I was a child. I’ve watched movies and tv shows that had adult life in them. I’ve learned what being an adult was like from my mother, father and neighbor. As someone who’s 24, being an adult isn’t easy, especially in today’s world. For someone who is returning to school, working for himself, searching for clients to work with, and scrambling with little money, being an adult is much more difficult than I expected from the point of view of other adults.

I believe as a new generation begins, every child or teenager is going to find their own vision of what being an adult would be like. That’s not to say that the parents aren’t going to be 100% correct, but as they become an adult. Their childhood vision of what being an adult will be like will definitely change once they become 18.
